Thinking of eating out, but not sure where to go? Want to eat local, but have completely no idea what exactly *is* local? Or do you just want to read a good article about delicious food nearby? Well, then, this is the place for you! Packed into this spectacularly small area are four jaw-droppingly good restaurants that are all centered in or near Wayland. Some of these restaurants may be classic places for you to eat and some that you’ve never even realized existed, but nevertheless they are great places.
Jindu Asian Cuisine
-Vegetarian Dishes- -High Chairs Available- 4.7 stars
This is a pretty popular place, as many (MANY) of you know, and its ambience, service, and food are exceptional. Jindu is famous for its sushi boats and platters, a variety of asian foods to choose from and one seriously good menu. Some recommendations from WMS students are the Udon Noodle Soup, House Lo Mein, Orange Chicken, Shirley Temple, and my personal favorite, their “Ramune Japanese Soda”
Giacomo’s Ristorante
-Vegetarian Dishes- -Outdoor Seating- -4.4 stars
If you like Italian edibles then this is one of the best places to get that type of food inside Wayland. Their food is amazing, the atmosphere is overall noisy but in a cozy way, and they’re mostly popular for their desserts and pizza.. Anyway, some things you’d want to try that most people find delicious are the Fettuccine with Salmon, their (excellent) pizza menu, and If you have the time, you just have to try the Lobster Ravioli.
The Villa Restaurant
-Delivery- -Fast Service- -4.4 stars
Another Italian restaurant located in Wayland, and a well-liked restaurant overall, is the Villa Restaurant. The food is especially good, and their pizza definitely rivals those of New York, and at the time being, they have live music every Thursday night and trivia every Wednesday night, 6:00 to 11:59, which is something not every restaurant does, so it’s something you should look into. Recommendations recommended are Chicken Parmigiana, Baked Potatoes, and all of the seafood options on the menu.
The Local Kitchen & Drinks
Brunch- -Outdoor Seating- -4.1 stars
Nice atmosphere, ample parking and remarkable food make this restaurant a good spot for lunch or dinner. This restaurant is more on the American side of cuisine, unlike the two other Italian restaurants listed above. It’s a fairly good restaurant overall and everything fits into place perfectly. I really should stop yapping. There have been some negative reviews but everything else was positive and happy, and the descriptions of food are scrumptious. By the way, here is the list of recommendations you’ve gotten used to- French dip sandwich, fried pickles and dumplings.
Closing Thoughts
Well, there you have it! If I didn’t put your most favorite restaurant inside that you absolutely love, and you got offended, tell me and I’ll add that to the second edition of food reviews, which can also include non-Wayland restaurants if you think that it deserves to be mentioned. Anyway, now that you’ve read this, I’m betting that your mouth is watering, but it won’t be a problem anymore because one of these four local restaurants might just be across the street from your house!
DISCLAIMER- if this is an old article for you, (though at this time it’s very new) some of this information might be outdated. Because of this, every month or so I’ll write another one with new restaurants and newer info, so that you’ll never be deceived by a small mistake.
Great article! I really enjoyed your writing style, and the overall layout of everything. In my personal experience, I like Lotus Blossom in Sudbury a little bit better than Jindu, but they still have very good dishes there. I definitely think the 110 grill is one that could be added here, for the amazing, juicy meat. Thank you for writing this article.
