What now? You’ve finished reading your book, and you’re bored, once again. Why not play a game? Too babyish? Nope. Actually, there are lots of games you can play that may be fun. Here are some that you might find fun:
Family Games:
When you have a lot of people around, there are many possibilities. I love playing Apples to Apples, which is great to get to know people. Another great game is any Sorry game, for any competitive people.
Card Games:
There are many card games in the world. One of my favorites is WAR, a true classic, requiring only two players. One thing I do is take a classic card game, and twist it a bit, so it’s more interesting.
Board Games:
I know that board games can be cheesy, unfair, or just plain terrible. But some are fun, if you find the right one. One thing I enjoy playing is Monopoly, but with a timer to make things more interesting. Like card games, you can take classic board games and add a twist.
Outdoors games:
This is my favorite category!!! One thing I just about LOVE is hopscotch. I make hard twists and turns, and I make them very long! (My record is about 203 squares.) I also love to do jump rope (don’t be shy, you know its fun), and tag. I also add some spice to tag, so even with two people, it becomes a favorite on a sunny day.
See, there are a lot of great things to play. And maybe once in a while do something that may seem babyish, just for the sake of it.
What do you like to play?
