About This Site

Wayland Middle School has deployed a 1:1 Chromebook initiative for all students in the fall of 2014, allowing students to take home the devices to support their educational needs. If families prefer, students may leave the Chromebook at school during the day.

This site will provide information about the process and be a resource for parents, teachers, students and the community at large.

Members of the the WMS Technology Committee, comprised of at least one member from every department, meet once each month throughout the school year to discuss technology-related topics. They, along with the school Administration, have been working to develop a program that thoughtfully reflects the needs of both the classroom and the students.

Be sure to visit the Latest News page frequently to keep informed. The Resources page will also be updated frequently as the school develops and shares new information with the parent community – such as the Care & Use agreement and the Family Contract.

If you have any questions about the initiative, contact Bethann Monahan, WMS Instructional Technology Specialist and K-12 Department Head for Instructional Technology via email at Beth_Monahan at wayland.k12.ma.us or by phone at 508.655.6670 x4330.
